The DS1402D-DB8+ is a part of the DS1402 series. It is a 1-Wire network cable designed to connect an iButton socket (such as that on the DS1402D-DR8) with up to two iButtons simultaneously. It can be regarded as a multiplier that adapts a single iButton socket to two further sockets. The DS1402D-DB8 Blue Dot receptor cable can touch any iButton for reading, but can only retain the F5 version iButtons.
