Shipping & Delivery
Orders are shipped same day as long as items are in stock and provided the order is received by 15.00 UK time. Sometimes we may be able to ship same day even if the order is received later but this will depend on the number of orders we have received and how much later the order is received. Our drop dead time for Royal Mail shipping is normally 16.30 which is the latest time we can get a shipment to the local delivery office and still catch the post. In exceptional circumstances we can get a shipment to the sorting office which closes at 18.30. Give us a phone call to confirm. 
The exception to same day shipping is where we have to do some work on the items (such as inserting iButtons into fobs). The time taken to do this will depend on the size of the order and our current workload but is normally 24 hours or less.
Thermochrons and hygrochrons may take 24 - 48 hours, depending on the size of your order as we record serial numbers and run a series of tests on each one both as they enter and leave stock.
Privacy & Security
We will never give your details to anyone. We don't store your credit card details (although we can do a repeat charge through our credit card processor if you ask us to). Our systems are scanned every month for PCI compliance and any issues found are dealth with immediately. We use a proper SSL certificate from Geotrust to protect your login details and also your credit card details when you enter them.
Returns & Replacements
We are normally happy to take returns. All we ask is that the items are in a fit state for us to resell. We will refund the full cost of the items apart from the shipping cost. We will ask you to return the goods to us using a registered shipping method and will refund your card (or Paypal account) once the goods get back to us. If, however, the goods have been specially ordered for you then we reserve the right not to take them back, or to charge a restocking fee.
In all cases call us to get an RMA number before sending anything back.
Ordering
We accept orders from the website, by phone, or if you have a credit account with us by fax or post. We will normally send you confirmation that your order has been received and give you some idea of how long it will take before shipping.
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
Unless you have a credit account with us, payment must be made before we ship. We accept payment by credit card (including Amex), Paypal, Bank transfer, cheque, cash or Western Union. Quantity discounts are available on certain items, mainly iButtons and these are generally indicated on the web site. We have special rates for Academic institutions, please contact us for details. Invoicing is normally by a PDF document sent by email. Paper invoices are not normally provided, in line with our general environmental policy, but can be provided at an extra charge of £5 per invoice.
Viewing Orders
The state of your order can be viewed at all times on the website.
